MarkI'm mostly a vegan except that I eat deep water fish for the omega fatty acids. I'm trying to live a healthy lifestyle and like shopping at natural food grocery stores. While in North Carolina, I started a group called North Carolina Citizens for Safe Food. We tried to educate the public about the dangers of genetic engineering (GMO's) to human health and the environment. I believe in the equality of men and women, the elimination of racism, and that marriage is a fortress for well being. Some of my interests include: NPR, PBS (especially NOVA programs), Democracy Now (Amy Goodman), Union of Concerned Scientists, Center for Food Safety, Organic Consumers Association, Genetic Engineering Action Network, Ralph Nader, Dennis Kucinich, Baha'i Faith, nutritional healing, sustainable/green living, walkable communities, renewable energy, vegetarian/vegan cooking, raw foods, walking and hiking, massage, dancing (especially international folk dancing), most music except rap/blues/jazz. I love Irish/Scottish music and dance.
jeffyhello tell.me.about your self i have been vegan for years i want to know your story whats your favorite food how long have you been doing it
MariaMy statistics say it all.
DanielHello there!
I am an open minded person with values, loyal, persistent, resilient, problem solver, fun, and quite playful. I find life to be good and nice but being two is nicer.
I love cooking (vegan or raw vegan food), playing music, sports and outdoor activities when the setting feels right.
You can see that I have a faith but I am not a very religious man, I prefer being a good person living in peace with myself and others.
ByronYou will find that I am quite a bit different than most other men. I have had a lot of different experiences in life that have led me to be very open to different people and cultures. I have a deep interest in multi-cultural and creative activities that I would love to share with someone very special. I sing and would love to find someone who really loves music. My life has been a process of spiritual seeking to discover my true self and learning to unselfishly offer loving-kindness to others. I have always been very open and expressive with my feelings and would hope to find someone who also needs that in a relationship.
NamitaI would like to make some new friends. I'm interested in learning how people navigate their lives in their work and personal relationships. I'd like to know what you're reading and thinking about and what are the spiritual principles you live by.
MatthewI am a typical artist-type: progressive, easy-going, inquisitive, passionate, deliberate, sensual, playful.
I am also NOT an A-type personality. I'm mild-mannered, sometimes enthusiastic, sometimes melancholic, always appreciative and respectful to those around me.
I can be intellectual (essays published), and silly (some laugh, some tell me to shut up). I like to possibilitize and love having friends where I can practice unedited speech.
DelightfulEnjoy yoga and meditation, travel and the arts: museums, galleries, theatre, music, performances. Love all of nature, sunshine, flowers, butterflies, the ocean and stars. Did I mention travel? Would love a Latin/ballroom dance partner (or one who would like to learn) but this is not a necessity. Enjoy reading (mostly non-fiction) and volunteering. I'm open-minded, inquisitive, creative, loyal, empathetic and laugh easily. Interested in spirituality, mysticism, religions and cultures of the world, and the development of human potential and personal development. Also in social justice, global unity and environmental preservation. Retired from the new home building industry, have a bachelors degree in interior design, and previously had an HHP license (holistic health practitioner). Vegetarian since I was 17 years old. I realize this is not 'poetic' sounding; just 'factual', but at least you have an idea of my interests and a bit about who I am. Loved living in San Diego County, California for many years, but now relocated to Tennessee, just outside of Memphis. Would consider relocation with my partner-for-life and even would enjoy learning a second language. My photos were taken April-July 2018.
sanazI'm a very easy going person who loves and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Down to earth, very caring, thoughtful, understanding and faithful person.I'm an honest, trustworthy, dedicated woman who is looking for a lifetime partner with a good heart and soul.
jjbluesWhen your around me anytime, you'll be laughing, honest straight forward kind of guy. I like doing exciting new things, like travel or business ventures, I'm single and never been married with no kids. I like to play blues and sing to my gal. I have a 50 acre organic farm, and my next crop is going to be oats for strawbale construction, I'll explain later! I just moved back to the farm after being in New Orleans 15 years and L.A. 10 yrs, so it's an adjustment and a comittment that I would like to share with my soulmate. I love all animals I just don't eat them, (although I do threaten my cats that they would make great sauce piquante) just kidding! Oh yes, I do like to camp, ride bicycles, golf, tennis, not a big sports fan, but like to watch football and golf.
DavidVegan since 86. Health is Excellent - (being sick is not on my activity schedule); my interest in veganism is limited to health and ecological concerns. I don't hunt or fish, but am a Life Member of the NRA for 2nd Amendment reasons. I don't date interracially - there is one race (with multiple ethnicities :-) currently living on this planet; 'inter' implies 'two or more'. We are 'as the fruits of one tree, the flowers of one garden, the waves of one sea...'. We're all in the same boat (spaceship Planet Earth) and we all eat from the same pantry. Those who worship One God - by whatever name - worship the same God. 'If two people are arguing about religion, THEY ARE BOTH WRONG.' ~Abdu'l Baha
Oh, and Yes - I sail!
